How can I delete an old Apple ID

i got a new phone and couldn’t remember my password for my Apple ID after 1 attempt my Apple ID was locked, I used an old email to create a new Apple ID and after a week my old one I had used for years was unlocked and I found the correct password so I signed back in and retrieved all my stuff, now my Apple Watch wants me to sign in using the other temporary Apple ID and constantly ask to sign in and some apps want me to sign into that in order to download. How can I completely delete the temporary Apple ID I created so it doesn’t cause any more problems?

It may have been temporary in your mind, but there are no temporary Apple IDs.

Top get rid of it you will need to turn off Activation Lock on every device you used with this ID. Then erase & set them up with the Apple ID that you wish to use. You will lose all content acquired (free & paid) with the ID that you don't want to use.
