Iphone 11 pro screen stuck in black mode and apps not functioning

Anyone facing issues with iPhone 11 Pro being stuck in black mode when opening common apps like -messages, phone calls? Also screen gets stuck disallowing you to scroll. This is a new phone under 30 days and has storage capacity of 256 GB so I can't understand what the problem is!
