Touch ID not working on MacBook Air since Catalina update installed
Since downloading Catalina the Touch ID does not work no matter how many times I delete and reinstall fingerprint. Any suggestions ?

There are a few things to try with near anything software or in some cases, hardware.
• Safe mode startup, check settings; restart normal. Note instructions about Safe boot.
• NVRAM reset, use four keys held on restart, let go after three audible chimes.
• SMC reset is kind of like 'power management controller' reset and then some.
