Am I being hacked?

Hello, I just got a text message about an Apple ID verification code but I did not request one nor did I use my apple account recently. Is there a chance someone is trying to use my account? I just changed my password to be safe. But I don’t know what else to do.

Apple verification code A few weeks earlier a received a message from Apple sending me a verification code randomly even though nobody else knows my apple ID. I changed my password just to be safe. And today I received two more messages sending me verification codes. Should I keep changing my password or is this just some kind of spam?

Unrequested Apple ID verification codes texted to my iphone Over the past two days, I have received approximately 20 unrequested Apple ID verification codes from the following phone numbers : 819-61 ; 504-72. The text messages read: "Your Apple ID Verification Code is: xxxxxx" I have not been attempting to log on to my apple ID/icloud accounts when I receive these text messages and feel that a scammer is trying to log onto my account. Is this a scam/hacker? How do I make this stop?

Someone may be trying to sign into your Apple ID account, but since you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled on the account, they won't be able to access your account unless they gain access to one of your trusted devices/computers.
