Content flagged with ATMOS soundtrack only comes through as 5.1. On Apple TV 4K.
No issues on other streaming platforms.

I am also seeing this issue, before streaming some content such as Togo and The Mandalorian on Disney + it would show that it has Dolby Vision and Atmos, but after it starts playing my receiver is only detecting 5.1, where as the Marvel and star wars content are coming through as Atmos properly, very weird.
I have via both Live Chat and Phone Call, both times the guy's on the other end are clueless. Kind of sucks that this app happens to bug out on the most expensive streaming box currently available on the market, when watching Togo and The Mandalorian on LG's WebOS it is able to output both Atmos/Vision.
That would have nothing to do with the Apple TV itself, it is an issue with the app and each platform would be running a different version. It would then be Disney’s responsibility to fix the issue occurring. if the level 1 responders aren’t taking it seriously then you need to ask for someone higher up.
If it is isolated to Disney then it is an issue with their app. If it persists after force quitting and reinstalling then best to let them know so they can investigate.
