My phone got issues after It fell in the sink full of water

My phone got issues after It fell in the sink full of water like for 3 seconds, it can’t read the SIM card and,shut off every 5 minutes and, it got like a very thin line on the edge of the screen.

Since the phone didn’t resist the water, do apple exchange my phone for free?

BTY: this phone was bought in august of this year

Your device has been destroyed by the water.

Water damage is not covered by the standard warranty and the device must be replaced at your expense.

No. Apple doesn't cover water damage in their warranty. You need to pay for a repair / replacement.
