What happens if I delete Notes app?

Hello!

My notes app’s size have raised to over 1GB. iCloud sync is turned on so it keeps downloading my notes to my iPhone even though I mostly use them on my iPad. Now I would need some space on my iPhone so I was thinking about deleting all my notes from here, which I guess is done by deleting the app. I’m afraid to try so I thought I’ll ask: If I delete it, the notes will still remain on my other devices and iCloud, right?
