Smart Keyboard Extended Warranty Information:
I have an iPad Pro 12.9" with Smart Keyboard and Pencil purchased new on Sept 1st 2017.
Just recently my Smart Keyboard started not working, with the iPad repeatedly showing the error "This Device is Not Supported".
I contacted support, they sent me to an authorized repair shop, they said it wasn't covered by warranty. I next chatted with support online as I was sure I had purchased Apple Care for it, they said there's nothing we can do. I just now chatted with support and showed them the following articles showing that Apple extended the warranty and that mine was still under 3 years old. They said that my purchase date was in 2015!!! I don't know whether that information was entered correctly or intentionally altered, but I set up a call with them tomorrow to change the official date of purchase to avail of this warranty, which I can't find on Apple's website anymore.
Fortunately, I have my original box, so I can read my Serial Number. That they printed the serial number on the felt is absurd. I will let you know if they honor the warranty or if I'm going to have to sue Apple.
