I have an iPhone 8. I am not able to send or receive group texts with other phones that are not iPhones. I am also unable to send photos to phones that are not iPhones. Suggestions?

Your issue appears to have the ability to send SMS messages (Green Bubble). The above link sheds some light on that subject. Hope this solves your issue.

Check in Settings > Messages and be sure MMS is turned on (this is required for group texts and photos). If it is on but still not working try turning it off and back on. If that doesn't work contact your cell service provider and have them check the provisioning on your iPhone.
