how to clean and get to work ancient apple mouse

i have a A2M4015Z mouse (the mouse of the 1983 apple IIe if I remember correctly) and I don't know hot to clean it. Does someone knows ho to do it? it also has the old 9 pin connector; does an adapter to usb even exist?

You will first want to completely disassemble the mouse. You can use dawn and warm water to clean all the plastic pieces. Just ensure that you don’t get any of the electronics wet. Allow the plastic pieces to fully dry before re-assembly.
