UASP Driver and Mojave 10.14

I have read all over the forums on how to check if UASP driver is loaded for capable USB 3/UASP drives. I did the following:

Opened Terminal and ran command:

ioreg |egrep 'IOUSBMassStorageUASDriver'

No Result

Then I connected a confirmed UASP device and ran command:

ioreg |egrep 'IOUSBMassStorageUASDriver'

and I got a result. IOUSBMassStorageUASDriver..... registered.

Is this how to ask if UASP is working and the driver is loaded for Mojave?

Thanks!

The behavior you describe is completely normal. The driver is already incorporated in macOS.

In other words the short answer to your question is "yes".
