Best way to remove smudges off the screen?

My question's self-explanatory.
Obviously it would be best that I keep my hand clean at all times, but sometimes that proves difficult. So what's the best/safest way to remove screen smudges? Cheers.

Just so you know, the oleophobic coating is going to get worn out pretty soon. Depends on your daily usage and cleaning methods, etc but the coating will be gone before you know it...
