Cannot Quick Share Photo with Recent Contacts

Basic Information:

iPhone 11 Pro Max 64 gig

Software Version 13.3.

When I got to photos > Select > Select 1 photo > share > click on recent message contact, the photo does not send. I have to scroll to more, then click messages from the apps menu, to then bring up text messages. I was previously able to quickly share by just clicking on a recent contact, but now when I do, nothing happens. Airdrop does work when I tap, but the quick share via text message does not. Any input would be very helpful and I have provided an image below for reference.
