How to recover some documents from iCloud that are no longer visible

If they aren't visible in Finder, if you go to iCloud.com/iCloud Drive using a computer browser, do you see the files there? Try going to iCloud.com/iCloud Drive and click on Recently Deleted at the bottom right. Then try iCloud.com/Account Settings using a computer browser and go to Advanced at the bottom left. Access Restore Files.
