I have this ipad mini 5 just buy 2 days ago, but i feel the olephoabic is not function in the screen, it is like that or i just received a defect product?
The oleophobic coating reduces the smudges, and makes the screen easier to clean.
The coating doesn’t eliminate all smudges.
That screen looks typical of most any iPad that’s been in use.

In reality and practice, the oleophobic coating really has never done much to resist fingerprints/finger oils.
