transfer photos without using icloud!

I Need to transfer phots from my phone to my own memory starage. the phone has 1000s of photos ,but only about 30 show up when I open the DCIM file. I am extreemly up set. I could do this before now I cant access my picutres outside appl!! WTF!!!!!!

There is NO NEED to access the icloud. so dont tell me to download it AGAIN! Plus I cant even down load a usable file from icloud. it is not accessable to other sights. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I could send pout a xmas card this year because of this and now I cant access to create a slide show for my family. AHHHHHHHH

You cannot transfer photos by attempting to access the phone’s file system. Photos are not stored in DCIM folders, they are stored in a database. You must use photo import software on your computer. if you have a compatible Mac you can send them trough airdrop from your iPhone to your Mac. if you don't have a Mac you can always use a third party cloud solution like google drive, dropbox or you can send them trough a messaging app that is supported on both your phone and your computer like mail or even whatsapp or telegram; if you have the right adapters you can attach a usb drive to your phone, tap the share button, tap the "save in file" button and choose your external device as your file destination.
