My most pressing question is family sharing on my Mac Book. I downloaded a movie from my daughter's movies onto the mac. When trying to play it is just a black screen.
I also am not finding shared content on any devices.
I have updated everything. Signed out and in to itunes.
So frustrated at this point.

Family Sharing allows family members to share certain services. If so activated, that may include purchased content from the iTunes Store. Do you have Purchase Sharing activated for Family Sharing?
This allows family members to download a copy from Apple’s servers onto their own device. Downloaded files cannot be transferred to other devices directly. Downloaded files from the iTunes Store will be marked with Apple ID and device ID and checked for that.
Family Sharing does not assist in getting content directly from other devices.
Family Sharing is not needed or wanted for home video files or other media files that are not from the iTunes Store.
Please elaborate if this movie is not an iTunes Store purchase.
