What is #page1 yahoo icon on Safari Favourites?

I just did a full erase and fresh install of High Sierra to get rid of "Safe Finder" and when I opened Safari for the first time there are two Yahoo icons. One is titled "#page1"

Could this be related to Safe Finder or is it normal to have two Yahoo icons in Safari Favourites?

If you did an erase/reformat on the disk before the reinstalling the OS, there shouldn't be any adware/malware. Are you syncing Safari data using iCloud? If so, that may have synced from another device/computer.

It is not normal to have two yahoo icons.

How to remove Safe Finder adware/malware.

Please take all these steps.

1. Run  Malwarebytes for Mac to remove malware/adware.

    Install guide:       https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1817

    Uninstall Guide:  https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1190

The installer may ask you to allow it in Security & Privacy  /System Preference. Allow it.

2. Disable all extensions and test.

     Disable or uninstall extensions.

Thank you for your replies. Just wondering do I need to use these if I do a full erase and re-install?

And here is a picture of the #page1 Yahoo icon and a bit more information

At the start what made me realise there was something wrong is a Google search was re-directed to a Yahoo search. So after I erased and re-installed and saw this second Yahoo icon in Favorites it didn't seem right

When I open Yahoo from the #page1 icon it starts off being "au.tv.yahoo.com" then changes to "https://au.yahoo.com/err..." and also in the address is "Aussies complain nbn is slow..." It also has a message "Hmmm...the page that you're looking for isn't here, Try searching above" When I open Yahoo on another computer everything is just the same but it does not have this message

Another thing, when I try to install from USB installer, there is a message saying it is damaged. I Googled and found I have to set the clock in Terminal to 2019, then it will install

Just tonight I did another full erase and installed High Sierra via Internet Recovery and the #page1 Yahoo icon is still there and still the same. Usually when I do an Internet Recovery it installs Lion OSX which is what it shipped with. Have Apple dropped that now and only offer High Sierra? (This computer is too old to install Mojave)

And here is the message "'Hmm...the page that you're looking for..."

Yes I figured it out last night, when you install these days you do it online and Apple remembers your settings and browsing history if you don't reset Safari before installing. I never choose to use iCloud but its the same thing...?

I don't know how the second Yahoo page came to be in my Favourites, it could have been the Malware or I did it inadvertently but it must have been there before, so therefore it was there afterwards as well

The things I was concerned about I think are just a co-incidence. The system date is wrong because I probably need a new CMOS battery

Thanks guys for your replies and help, cheers
