How to make custom bullet styles for different indent levels?

Hi,

using latest operating system and latest Pages version on an iMac ´18 27".

In Microsoft Word, the style of the bullet list is automatically updated in reference to the indent level. E.g. if I chose a solid point for indent level 1, and a line for indent level 2, this is automatically applied when I use indent level 1 or 2 respectively. With pages I don't know how to do this.

Ive tried updating the bullet style, but then it applies the last edit (e.g. the line for indent level 2) and applies this when I go back to indent level 1. I want Pages to automatically change between a solid symbol for indent level 1 and a line for indent level 2. How do I do this?

Ive tried googling without luck.. Thank you in advance, and a Happy New year =)

Hello, Anterialis!

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are looking to have your bullet points behave as expected. I am here to help any way I can.

In this case, there is a great user guide on formatting in Pages and how you can customize. Check it out here: Format lists in Pages on Mac.

I hope this provides a solution to your issue and you have a great day.

Cheers!
