How can I tell status of upload to iCloud Photos in Mac OS X Catalina, Photos Version 5.0?

I activated iCloud Photos for the first time this morning a couple of hours ago. All my iOS devices appear to have uploaded very quickly but the majority of my photos are on an older MacBook Pro running MacOS Catalina 10.15.2. With Catalina comes Photos version 5.0. So far, none of the photos on this MacBook are visible on any other devices. All the support articles say I should be able to see a status bar if I scroll to the bottom of “Moments” but I don’t see “Moments” in this version of Photos. I recognize that it will take a long time for a 100 GB photo library to upload but I would like to know how to track progress. Any ideas?

Thanks for replying. I don’t see anything at the bottom of the years view. I exited Photos and opened it again after posting this question and at the bottom of “All Photos” it now lists updating but as of right now I still don’t see any of the photos from my Mac on any of my other devices. Seems really slow to not see even one.
