Video saved to Pages and is now "greyed out"

How do I get this video safely off my phone and preserve it?

The video is saved in Pages, but it is greyed/dimmed out and I cannot access/manipulate the file. It shows it 4.72gb in size, and the thumbnail is the first frame of the video.

I don't know how it got saved to Pages rather than Photos/Videos. I didn't select any options to do that.

I have Pages set to "Save to iCloud" but the video is not saved to iCloud, no does it upload on a phone reset and accessing the app.

Hello ChrisLaforest and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you may have used the Files app to save a large video file to the Pages folder in iCloud Drive.

If the file is grayed out, it may be an indication that there is not enough space in your iCloud account to complete saving the file. It could also be an indication that there is not enough space on the device itself to download the file. If the video was shot on the iPhone and is still shown in the Photos app, you may be able to access it from there. If not, the file may not be recoverable directly to the iPhone..

If you have access to a computer, you can try going to iCloud.com, signing in with your Apple ID and accessing iCloud Drive and the Pages folder from there. If you can access it via that avenue, you should be able to download it to a computer.
