Passcode or password? A passcode is a four or six digit number: is that what your phone is asking for as opposed to the Apple ID?
As the passcode is stored only on the phone it cannot be retrieved and the only way forward is to erase the phone. If you have a backup made before the passcode was set you can restore the phone as it was then, otherwise unfortunately all data on the phone will be lost. You are not going to need Wi-Fi right off the bat to reset your passcode.

I know my apple id password, it's the phone passcode that i don't remember and i have tried to use find my phone and following steps, it said it would need to be connected to internet to erase the phone. But I've disabled data/wifi on my phone.
