Watch 5 Fall Detection sensitivity

Fall detection is determined by the accelerometer in the Watch. I've slapped my hand down hard on the counter before and it registered it as a fall. You have time to turn off the emergency SOS and tell the Watch you didn't fall. I don't mind so much turning that off, especially after falling off a stepladder and it activated. While it is possible to get a false reading, I would rather have that then it be too difficult for it to read a fall and I just lay there waiting.

You're welcome. While I've not really needed the thing to contact Emergency Services for me, I've taken a couple of falls of late and it has done a great job of recognizing them both. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't really need it, but will be quite pleased if I do. Enjoy your watch.
