iPad Pro 9.7 Issues after upgrading to iPadOS

Hi all,

So this is a last resort before I use my iPad Pro as a frisbee and throw it out my window. Im hoping someone can offer some insight into this issue.

I was a participant in the Beta Software Program and downloaded iPadOS on my iPad Pro 9.7 however I found that Safari was not functioning correctly and was constantly pixelated. I restored my iPad to iOS 12.?? (whatever it was at the time) and the safari issue was resolved.

I thought that it was just a bug in the beta software however once the software moved from beta testing to being released my iPad did the auto update thing and surprise surprise the safari issue is back again.

I had apple support via chat run diagnostics etc however could not find what was causing the issue. The decision was made to travel the 1.5hrs from Regional Victoria (Australia) into the closest Apple store to have them run the same diagnostics which came back saying that the iPad is functioning as it should and was told "the graphics card is gone in it" however it only effects Safari (any web browser actually). Every other app, video, etc displayed perfectly fine. (Forgive me if I'm wrong however I would have thought if 'the graphics card is gone' then I wouldn't be able to watch videos, use other apps etc??)

I asked the person at the apple store if my iPad could be downgraded back to iOS 12 and was told no sorry and that she would be happy to dispose of my iPad Pro as it is not repairable which I declined her very polite offer as I don't believe its a hardware issue.

I guess I just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same/similar issue with the iPad Pro 9.7? or even the same sort of experience with the 'genius' at an apple store?

thanks

Ben

What troublshooting steps have you tried on your own?

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

How much internal, free data storage space is left inside of this iPad?

Have you tried a bunch of other, third party Web browsers?

Are you using a VPN service?

There are many other Web browsers to try besides Google Chrome.

Try Firefox, and some of the other more popular free trials, ad supported third party Web browsers, like

iCab Mobile Web browser

Dolphin Web browser

Aloha Web browser

Perfect Web browser

Snow Bunny Web browser

Private Browsing Web browser by Savvy Soda

Private Browser Deluxe

Testing with just one other Web browser does not confirm the issue happens with all available third party Web browsers.
