I bought my apple watch 5 series last week and i found out that the watch measuring heart rate even when the watch is on the table or when it laying on the bed while i'm sleep.
Is it normal or should I take it to a service to fix it ?

If the Watch is unlocked, which is what you are currently showing, the device is going to try and measure your heartbeat. I'm curious why the device is unlocked while not on your wrist.
I think i found out what caused it to measure heart beat while not wearing the watch...
it was set to unlock when unlocking iPhone in the settings, so probably i unlock the phone at night and the watch stays unlock during the night.
the only thing i don't understand is why and how it can measure/detect heart beat if it's not on the wrist.
Interesting that it did that. Do you have it charging while you are sleeping? I charge my Watch every night, and I've never experienced that happening, nor have I read of it. See if the information that Randy-12 provided helps. Remember, make sure the device locks after you remove it from your wrist.
well, I unlock it to test this, because when I was sleeping and the watch was locked and NOT on my wrist, it notify me that my heart rate rose above 120 BPM
Force restart the watch by holding in the crown and the side button for 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo then release.
