I want to trade in my iPad. I bought it from the Apple store online. When I type in the serial number, I get a message that it’s invalid.
Since I bought it directly from Apple at full price, I’m baffled. I would understand if I bought it from a foreign country or off the black market.
Anyone else have this problem?

there are two #1s. I tried 1 and I because they look similar
It was never replaced. When I’m trying to purchase a new one and trade my old one in for credit, it asks for the serial number.
I was very careful to type it exactly as it shows on the back of the iPad - which matches the number under “devices” on my account listing.
What does it say when you use the link I provided?
Same thing. “We are sorry, but the serial number you provided is invalid.”
Watch out for number 0 which is so similar to the letter O. I have had trouble with that similarity in serial numbers.
