My Mac OS Mojave is taking too much system files disk space, any idea why? almost 166 GB for system files, I only have a 250 ssd.

You can try re-indexing Spotlight.

Obviously there is no way 166GB's of data could be located in the system files.
Restart in Safe Mode, then restart normally. That should clear caches and free some space.
One other source of large system space is Time Machine local snapshots.
Do the following command in Terminal. What does it tell you?
tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
