Airpods In yoghurt

So I dropped my airpod in yoghurt, the volume in the AirPod I dropped has gone down quite a bit. This was 4 hours ago and I made sure to wipe the speakers and airpods as best as I could but they still do not work. What should I do?

My AirPods' volume has dropped off significantly My AirPod volume has dropped off significantly. The last time this happened I accidentally washed them in the washing machine and the volume came back. I am assuming there is some sort of debris in them that makes them less loud.
