Logic Pro clicking sound - removed !!!

I suffered the problem of hearing clicks when playing back audio recorded on an Aggregate Device (two Rode NT USB microphones) in Logic Pro X. The clicks were saved when I exported the audio regions.

I was very upset.

But then I tried this:

  • I plugged the Rode Microphones back in again
  • I set the recording buffer size to 1024 instead of 128
  • I set the "output device" to be MacBook Pro speakers instead of Rode USB

And now when I play back the same recording that previously had clicking sounds, it now has no clicking sounds.

And I can export the regions.. and there is no clicking sound not the export!!!

What a relief! The clicks are not in the recorded sound - they get created when Logic plays back or exports the region !

Does this work for you others who have suffered the same problem!!! ???

(I am not sure which of the above steps are essential... maybe you can investigate?)
