iPad only charges via laptop USB

Problem: iPad Pro A107 will not charge from the Apple wall charger. The iPad does charge from a MacBook pro. It is NOT the cord or the wall charger. Tested the voltage with a multimeter. Wall charger is A-OK. I've done a DFU reset, cleaned all connectors, and so on. Nothing works. Again: The iPad will not charge from the wall charger but does charge from my MacBook Pro. I'm flummoxed. Any help is much obliged.

Hello again. Genius bar report. Diagnostic tests were A-OK. Factory reset did not resolve the problem. Conclusion: malfunctioning charging port from damage and/or non-OEM charging cord. This iPad belongs to my folks so I was unaware of any damage, but there was a swanky gold charging cable. The iPad still charges via laptop, so perhaps a bad ground on the charging port. I would like to thank the Genius for all his help! Excellent work. Related question. Is there a wireless charger that works with the 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro A1701?
