Viewfinder is gone when trying to pair a apple watch

Hi, I am trying to pair an Apple Watch on my iPhone XS Max, however the viewfinder is gone in the Apple Watch app as shown below, I have tried restarting the phone and watch, the camera are working, but this viewfinder just doesn’t show up, even when I tap to manual pairing, the Apple Watch doesn’t show up in the device list. Any ideas?
