Wacom Bamboo tablet/pen model CTL-460 is not recognized by computer

After upgrading to Mojave my computer does not recognize the Bamboo Pen/Tablet. I installed the recommended driver and Wacom Desk Center says it is up to date but cannot detect the device. Any ideas?

Yes, as CT said: Wacom support.

Just to be sure, did you follow the instructions to authorize Wacom software?

Yesterday I re-installed the driver using the USB port on the back of the computer (awkward to get at) and this time the IOManager is listed in the Automation and Accessibility. It looks like all that should be authorized is. But the Wacom desktop manager still cannot find the device. Here is the Automation screen shot. For now I am giving the whole thing a rest. Thanks for the helpful ideas.
