Email on iPhone and ipad

Why is my email disappearing? Very frustrating, since many of them I had flagged to save. Help!

Chris, Thanks for the help. I gave up yesterday and contacted Apple Support. They had me delete my mail account and then install it again. That has seemed to solve the problem.

I am wondering if it had something to do with the recent updates from Apple.

Check the web access of Comcast mail and see if it is there. I use Comcast and have not experienced any of that type of behavior. If you go to Settings>Passwords & Accounts, tap on your Comcast account and if you look on that next page, do you see IMAP or POP?

Okay, thanks for the IMAP answer. As far as the update, I've updated my iPad Pro 11 and my iPhone 11 Pro, both with my Comcast mail account and did not experience any issues. However, I'm glad you got it sorted and working. My next step after checking on the type of account would have been to remove it and add it back.

I use Comcast for my email. I didn’t delete certain emails on my iPhone or iPad. They have also disappeared. I didn’t realize this until a couple of days ago, when I was checking my emails.

What kind of email? Who is the email provider? Are you using the default email app on the iPhone? If you are using an IMAP account and delete mail on one device, it will automatically delete on the other. You will have to provide a clearer explanation of what is happening besides email disappearing. What are you doing when this is happening?
