Samsung Display C34J79x Keeps cutting in and out.

Hi I have a Samsung curved display model C34J79x connected to a Apple MacBook Pro via the Thunderbolt 3 that also provides power to charge the MBP. Everytime I restart or randomly the display cuts in and out. Super annoying. I have replaced the cable, but does not resolve the issue. It is connected to Receptacle 2 Link Controller Firmware Version 1.11.0.

Other stats the MBP is 15,2 Ouad-Core Intel Core i5 2.4Ghz 8GB Memory firmware version on the Thunderbolt Bus 0 is 39.2 the Samsung Display is Firmware Version 22.1 Machine is running Catalina 10.15.2

As for graphics, uses the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 665 GPU 1536 MB VRAM

Has anyone experienced the same and came up with a fix??
