I am starving for a QT7Pro replacement, QTx is a pile. I bought Compressor thinking it might work, I need to be able to open DnX, Pro Res and H.264 and convert to all formats. If Compressor can do this I don't see the settings for it.

QT Pro 7is such a perfect app, it can open almost any Pro video codec, convert files easily and you can trim small clips of videos so easily. Compressor seems really slow at doing the most basic conversion and I see no DnX codecs. Is there any option out there as good as QT Pro 7? Cause if not Apple will not be getting my 20 grand for a new Mac Pro and Monitor.

In Compressor you need to add a custom setting:

Create QuickTime Movie.

Then adjust parameters to suit your job.

Codecs (must be on your system) can be applied using the Video>Codec field:
