I just changed from a regional provider, c spire, to Verizon and got a new iPhone 11. they ported over my number. I am not receiving text messages or they are hours or even days late if it is from an Android or if there is a group message that contains an Android user. I have turned phone on and off, reset network settings, made sure they aren't blocked, and have made sure the i message, MMS/SMS and group message button is on. I have sat on the phone for hours at this point with Verizon. The phone ans service just started on 12/22/2019. I am beyond frustrated because my job depends on me getting text message like these. also when i started some apps again on new phone and needed a verification code texted to my phone i don't get so i cant set up apps on new phone
