Syncing Exchange Calendar onto iCloud Calendar via MacOS Calendar

I am running a Macintosh in a Windows world. My company uses Exchange for email and calendars. I have been successfully using MacOS (and iOS) Apple Mail and Apple Calendar to sync with the appropriate Exchange services: Exchange calendar events show up on my Mac (and iOS) Calendar. I can accept invites, and create events on my Mac (and iOS) calendar and have them show up in the Exchange calendar. (I haven't quite figured out how to reliably create meetings except by bringing up Microsoft's Outlook for Mac.). I am totally Apple (except for creating meetings which I do on Outlook for Mac).

Is there a way to get the Exchange calendar events that show up nicely on my Mac Apple Calendar app to also be forwarded/sync'ed to iCloud Calendar (as iCloud does not, sadly, and surprisingly, support direct syncing with Exchange)?

Well, i do not see that ever happening. Microsoft does not support iCloud sync with any of their apps (they could if they wished to). Meanwhile, Apple apps (Pages, Numbers and so on) are indeed compatible with sync’ing with MS OneDrive.

My assumption is that, just as Apple added Exchange syncing into MacOS and iOS mail and calendar clients, they could add it to iCloud. There are actually specs for the transactions. Perhaps I’m wrong about this but, no need for Microsoft to do anything.

You don’t need to use iCloud at all. Since you have the exchange account set up in iOS just make sure under settings->passwords & accounts, that “calendar” is enabled for that exchange account. Then open the iOS calendar app, and under “calendars” make sure that exchange account is enabled (checked) there. Then any exchange calendar events will show in iOS calendar, as well as any third party calendar apps that sync with the iOS calendar data.

No; that is not the problem. The real issue is getting Exchange Calendar events to show up in iCloud, hopefully, without additional third-party applications.

I WANT the Exchange Calendar on Cloud. It is already running on all my devices (MAC and iOS). I would like to see it on iCloud.
