I cannot remove Opera. Tried dragging it into the trash bin and that won't work.

When you try to drag the app, do you receive an error?

Does the app not move?

"select the app and choose File > Move to Trash."

⚠️ DO NOT download some "uninstaller" app, even from the page I linked. There are a horde of them usually hosted by sites with a log track record of giving you malware with the download.

Based on reputations of the sites pushing these uninstallers, I have zero confidence in the security of any such program, especially since most will ask for your admin password to complete the uninstall.
