FaceTime audio

When recording a FaceTime conversation, how do you record the audio too? When I have turned off the mute on the screen record button it still doesn’t record the sound.

Recording FaceTime with sound I have attempted to record FaceTime with sound more than once. Holding the Record Button does give an option to record the Screen with sound via the microphone. When FaceTime is operating it turns the sound recording off. This is an Apple failure which frustrates me. Is there a fix?

Screen recording Hey everyone, I have done a screen recording and made sure the microphone was on. It was a FaceTime conversation that I had screen recorded, but since playing back there is no audio? I’m so confused. Can someone please help as I would love the audio to look back on. Does Apple not allow you to screen record a FaceTime with audio? I have just tried another screen recording and the microphone is working so I’m bit unsure of why it didn’t work for FaceTime?

No audio on FaceTime screen recording I follow the very simple steps to start a screen recording with a microphone turned on but when replaying it, there is still no sound. What am I missing?

There's no option to record a conversation with phone calls or FaceTime audio.

In many countries it's not legal.
