Hi I’m a nurse and use my watch on a regular basis, it’s a key tool for me to do my job.
Is there a Watch face or setting that allows the second hand to remain visible at all times?
I have tried several Watch faces but the second hand on the watch disappears usually in about 5-15 seconds.

Unfortunately, that is not a feature. If you go to the Watch app on the iPhone, go to My Watch>General>Wake Screen, if you set On Tap to Wake for 70 seconds, it will help. Tap the screen to wake it and it should stay on for 70 seconds. However, if you let your wrist go down, it will still put the screen to sleep.

I feel your pain, as I wanted to give my wife my old watch before I updated, and she is an RN in an Emergency Department and needed the same access.

Looking at the page of Apple Watch faces, there are quite a few with a second hand. The Explorer face has a separate second hand space. However, it's only available on a cellular Apple Watch.

I have seen many watch faces with a second hand, the issue is it disappears after a short period.
I am wanting to know how to keep the second hand visible 24/7 on my Apple Watch 5 cellular.
Without this as a feature I cannot do my job as I use it to measure people’s heart rate, respiratory rate etc.

Thanks I’ll give that a go. Hopefully it works and hopefully they amend this for all of us out there trying to make sure people are safe and healthy! Otherwise it’s back to a standard watch and a waste of $930!
