Installing fonts

I have tried this and it still is not letting me install fonts. I had no problem installing fonts previously; however, since installing macOS Catalina 10.15.1 I have been unable to install any new fonts. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Unable to install fonts I am unable to install fonts (from dafont, sofontsy, etc) since the Catalina update. I am able to download the fonts and go through the steps to install, but the font never installs. The install box flashes a few times before disappearing.

Can't Download Proxima Nova Mac OS Catalina includes some fonts that can be downloaded by the user. I'm able to download all of them except for Proxima Nova. Anyone else with this problem or better yet, a solution? https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210192

Drag the fonts into your User Library (~/Library/Fonts) folder.
