ESPN Plus lists Apple TV as being able to stream games live. I have subscribed to ESPN Plus but can only get the app on my iPad & iPhone. I can't find out how to put the app on my Mac Pro. This step seems necessary to link. Has anyone accomplished this?

Unless the developer (in this case ESPN) has a Mac OS version of their app at this point you are out of luck. Unfortunately for now, your option now is to suggest to ESPN that they develop a Mac OS version of their app.
