Charging IPad is ridiculously slowwwww

You cannot compare charging an iPhone battery with a iPad battery which is 3-4 times the size of an iPhone battery.

Using the supplied iPad 10W power/charging block and turning OFF WiFi, Airplane mode, Bluetooth and not using the iPad while charging, your new 7th gen iPad should fully charge between 4-5 hours.

With a 12W power/charging block using the same instructions, your iPad 7th gen will charge between 3-4 hours, or so.

This is all perfectly normal.

Not ridiculous, at all.

The iPad’s battery is significantly larger than a phone’s so it’s normal for it to take longer.

Are you using the iPad’s charging block to charge it? You should not use the phone’s charging block because a phone charging block is half as powerful as the one for an ipad.

Then there is some sort of issue, then.

If you have and used the Apple 12W power/charging block with that iPad and it is still not charging to 100% in 4-5 hours, something is wrong.

Something wromg with that Apple power/charging block and/or the Lightning to USB charge cable.

you can check how you're battery is charging in the preferences under battery. If it's not sufficient try another charger or cable
