Charging IPad is ridiculously slowwwww

New device, 7th Generation. Had other models in past.

in one hour it charges between 5% and 10%. On AIRPLANE mode! Same charger charges iPhone 100% In 45 min.

Anyone have same problem? Or is mine a lemon?

Solution?

iPad, iOS 13

You cannot compare charging an iPhone battery with a iPad battery which is 3-4 times the size of an iPhone battery.

Using the supplied iPad 10W power/charging block and turning OFF WiFi, Airplane mode, Bluetooth and not using the iPad while charging, your new 7th gen iPad should fully charge between 4-5 hours.

With a 12W power/charging block using the same instructions, your iPad 7th gen will charge between 3-4 hours, or so.

This is all perfectly normal.

Not ridiculous, at all.
