pencil with sidecar

I'm just now setting up sidecar with my iMac. My problem is the pencil. Trying to use Adobe Illustrator, there is so much parallax that it's unusable. Please advise.

Can't see mouse / cursor in Adobe Ilustrator when using Sidecar Hello, I'm trying to use my iPad + Pencil as a tablet (to replace my old Wacom Bamboo, which is no longer supported in Catalina). It's all connecting fine, I have it on 'Mirror built-in retina display'. When I open up Illustrator, my main problem is that I can't see where the mouse or cursor is when I'm using the Pencil UNLESS I start drawing something. i.e. I'm drawing blindly on the canvas. I want to be looking at my iMac and not on the small iPads screen. Is there a way of making the Pencil cursor point visible when hovering over the iPad without making a random mark on my Illustrator canvas? Thanks, A

Cursor using Sidecar and Apple Pencil Hello, I just got my new iMac and was hoping to be able to use my iPad as a drawing tablet using Sidecar. But it seems that the cursor isn't visible on the iMac screen while I'm using my Apple Pencil on the iPad, unless I am actively drawing or editing. I can't see the cursor on the screen as I'm moving the pen around, like I was previously able to do with my Wacom. This makes it pretty unusable as a drawing tablet, as I'm basically just using the iPad as I've always done. Someone asked this exact question in October of 2019 and the answer given then was that this feature is not supported. Since it's now over 2 years later, is this feature supported yet? I can't seem to figure it out or find any information on it.

Are you running the absolute latest version of Illustrator on your Macintosh?

Hey! After reading your comment, I installed the most recent software update on the iPad and NOW it's working-- so thank you! Still a little jittery with some lag, but he cursor is where it's supposed to be. :)

Yes. The "cursor" is about a 1/4 inch lower than my pencil with Sidecar/Illustrator. When I use my pencil in an iPad app like Procreate, it works perfectly.
