Received text of stolen IPhone found and view its location at: https://my-appleid.com/findmy/?auth=8470. That just takes me to my icloud and it does not show the device at all.

That text was a SCAM. That URL is not an Apple site. If you entered any personal information like your Apple ID and password your phone has been reset and Activation Lock was turned off by the scammers, so they can now use your phone.

You need to IMMEDIATELY change your Apple ID password (if the thieves haven’t changed it already) and follow the instructions in this Apple link—>If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

You should also be aware that anything you backed up or synced to iCloud is now in the hands of the thieves, so if there is any important data (such as credit card numbers) you need to accept that your identity has been stolen.
