Can I remove this wdc launch daemon?

Etrecheck shows a wdc launch daemon. I once had some WD software running but have since uninstalled it using their uninstall software. But this remains. Can I click remove to delete it? Full etrecheck report is attached.

Plots? What are plots?

Well, I've bought several WD disks over the years, and may have done more than one install. I was told how great they are, but one of them was broken right out of the box. You could hear what I assumed was the arm flailing about.

I have a 4TB WD drive which is nice and silent.

I have an 8TB WD drive which makes a clunking noise. I prefer silent.

I know for a fact that I did run a WD uninstall program. See the screenshot below.

Maybe it failed or maybe there was more than one installation of different versions or products.

Anyway, I think things may have run better after that uninstall. I'm not sure.

But today it turned out that Dropbox was causing major problems with my running FCP. I had asked it to change two files to online-only status, which it did but then continued to do god-knows-what. I think I'm going to try to find something better. It always runs a long time and during much of that time doesn't seem to be doing much or it's doing a lot of disk activity (for encryption purposes, they told me). I just want offline backups of my FCP projects.

Thanks for your help!
