How can a child under 13 use the iTunes gift card if they are unable to verify payment? As the parent I am unable to verify anything from her account or mine. We have a balance of $40 available but we are unable to use any. The picture below is the screen that we can’t get past.

What happens when you attempt to go to Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID to verify that information?
