Connect To Wifi But No Internet

I have 2 different wifi networks. I have connected to both of them with succession and they both have full bars. But when I try to google it automatically comes up with the 'connect to wifi symbol' straight away. I tried using a vpn to see if it was an ip issue and the vpn made it work. Its just that i can't always be using this vpn. I have tried restarting the internet with no success. How do I fix this?

In network preferences (under the wifi icon) delete the current locations and start again.

Guessing Restarting the internet meant resetting the routers

Also boot into Safe Boot, then restart again as normal

There is some app or peripheral that it dislikes.

  • remove all your login items from System Preferences , Users snd groups
  • Uninstall all antivirus or cleaner apps. They are useless and cause problems.
  • Install free version of Malwarebytes. This is approved. Check for malware After running it can be uninstalled in the Help menu
