Just wondering if anyone has the same problem. After selecting the show I want to watch from Apple TV+, I just get black screen, no streaming is happening.

Depending on the Television hardware and the program on AppleTV that is doing the streaming of higher resolution programs, when the program submits the higher stream to the TV, the TV hardware may take a second to respond to the resolution, and in some cases it may not be able to switch on to the higher resolution.

This can also happen if the Television is incapable of of the resolution that the AppleTV is set to.

You can test this by reducing the AppleTV resolution in settings/Video & Audio to something like SDR or 720 to see if that resolves your issue.
