Apple Music on Alexa

Linked Apple Music on Alexa which has been playing for several months . The app shows Apple still linked to Alexa account and default music player although when asking to play music through Alexa asks me to link to Apple . Any ideas

Siri: use my Library and stop defaulting to Apple Music! When using Apple CarPlay I ask Siri to play some album in my Library, but she attempts to use Apple Music (I'm not a subscriber.) A answer to this from 2018 said to use settings->Music-> don't use Apple Music, but this option does not appear in the current iOS. And to add insult to injury, she did not play the album either from Apple Music or from my Library, but put up a VERY random playlist of stuff from my Library. Siri subscribed me to Apple Music on her own Hey, I was asking Siri for an artist from my library the other day. She played a song from the artist I didn’t know. After some trails, I realized she just subscribed to Apple Music instead of going through my media library. How do I get off Apple Music altogether? I have iTunes Match and I buy CDs and individual files. That’s how I like my music.

I understand from your post that you have linked Apple Music with Alexa but are still being asked to link it when you try to play music.
